15 Athletes Win Board Up Titles

Board Up™ Miami is a pro-am wakeboarding competition that allows the world’s top professionals to compete against some of the sport's top amateurs. This year's prize purse was more than $10,000, with competition for both male and female riders of all divisions. Board Up™ is the signature event of a weekend that begins with the third annual IWSF Pan Am Region Wakeboard Championships. Winners of the IWSF Pan Am Region Wakeboard Championships automatically qualify to compete in Board Up™ on Saturday.

Athletes earning titles were: Nicholas Brown, Junior Boys; Taylor McCullough, Girls 10-13; Noah Flegel, Boys 10-13; Lead Gibney, Junior Women; Steel Lafferty, Junior Men; Nick Kamper, amateur Men; Dave Hernandez, Masters Men; Cynthia Passavanti, Masters Women; Maite Guitierrez, Junior Girls; Gonzalo Renosto, Veteran Men; Lorenza Quijano, Veteran Women; Vanessa Kronfle, Amateur Women; Raquel Hoffman, Pro Women; Justin Beale, Wakeskate; and Adam Fields, Pro Men.
